Like many of you, the interest in crossdressing started at a very tender age. For me, the initial thought of it came when I was watching Sesames Street (I am assuming 4-5 years old). They were showing kids and adults doing ballet and I found their outfits to be quite intriguing. I was curious and wanted to see how it would feel to wear something like that. Yet, somehow even without being told by anyone, I knew that it was a taboo for a guy to dress up as a girl.

Fast forward to teenage years when eBay was still relatively new. I was able to purchase a leotard without anyone knowing. It was a great feeling to actually have something to try out. At that time, I was only interested in the sensation of wearing the clothes and have no interest in trying to be more girlish. It would be something along the line of a closet crossdresser.

As I hit college, I started to open up more. The first person I told was my friend who at the same time confessed to me that he was gay. Now, just to let you all know, I am straight and have no interest in guys at all. It was quite a relief to be able to tell someone about my interest in crossdressing.

During college, the internet started to speed up and we're quickly moving away from dial-up. Anime and manga were more easily obtained. Websites about cosplaying were showing up left and right. Finally, there's a glimmer of crossplay!
