A couple of nights ago my fiance and I actually talked about the whole crossdressing thing. Here's what I learned:
1. She finds my crossdressing "scary" but can't explain why
2. Because I can't explain why I do it she can't understand it properly
3. She will happily let me crossplay if I intentionally do it badly (which I feel ruins the point of doing it)
4. We both agree that I should see a doctor to find out what it is that makes me want to crossdress (although not for the same reasons, I'm curious and she wants it gone)
As it now stands she knows I want to crossplay Sakura Haruno but she doesn't know that I'm actually doing it. At least we've talked about it which is always good.

I don't want to get "ALL UP IN YO BIZ" but it's best to be open and honest with your spouse about anything major like this. I don't really know how big crossdressing is in your life, or why you do it, it's just not something to take lightly.
Before I even asked my girlfriend out, I was flat out straight with her and let her know I was transgendered.. which by my surprise, she was okay with. That was three years ago! But anywhos...
There's a big difference between crossplaying at an Anime Convention and Cross dressing in normal every-day life. Hell, I only go out as a girl to places I know are TG friendly (bars, clubs, etc). I only crossplay at nights at cons when my girlfriend's friends aren't around, but if we're out of town I do it most of the convention!
But yeah, it's just about be open and honest with the person you love. If you two are meant to be together, then it'll happen!
