I'm on episode 13 in the anime and chapter 2 in the manga and I've also seen the directors cut "movie"...
Anyones else here that's a bit obsessed? ^^

When theyre gone,
The good ones you miss
The great ones you fight to stay
But the ones you love you let go, but always hang onto the memories of the happy times you shared.

Oh yeesh!
I'm really... amazed by the whole thing...
I mean, like Light's "Death Note-in-drawer-hiding-device" that'd eliminate the book if it were to be found.
I would probably be able to make such a device pretty easily but to come up with it... that I'd probably not do!
It's so thought-trough!

Then I've just finished watching the first two movies (subbed of course).
I don't care how annoying Misa-san is...She's the cutest thing ever...Can't wait until I move to Japan :D
I thought the differences between movies and manga were justified, and extremely well written...Although I couldn't help but look at Light and think of Nanahara from Battle Royale (same actor and all)...it's as if BR really happened, but instead of being wanted after escaping, he was turned into a movie star.
After I'm done with Gunslinger Girl I'll be getting the DeathNote anime.

Leela: No, there's already a soda like that. Soylent Cola.
Fry: Oh. How is it?
Leela: It varies from person to person.

I have all the manga and the movies, but I haven't worked up the cash to get the anime (I'd rather buy this one than download it).
It's just too good. O.O And intelligence is SO sexy...X3 I can't stand it.
All the characters are really nicely designed too. *wants to cosplay L this year*

It was horrible... they break Light's and Mikami's (proper spelling?) characters! Every part of light's personality that you like gets thrown out the window in that episode/manga.
::Grumbles about how the author was lazy and ended the anime wrong::

Just because you're stark raving mad, or because your crazy, doesn't mean you become stupid.
