Right now I'm REALLY into Death Note!

I'm on episode 13 in the anime and chapter 2 in the manga and I've also seen the directors cut "movie"...

Anyones else here that's a bit obsessed? ^^

Oh yeesh!
I'm really... amazed by the whole thing...
I mean, like Light's "Death Note-in-drawer-hiding-device" that'd eliminate the book if it were to be found.
I would probably be able to make such a device pretty easily but to come up with it... that I'd probably not do!

It's so thought-trough!

Read the manga first (as I do with most things)...And I fell in love with it.

Then I've just finished watching the first two movies (subbed of course).

I don't care how annoying Misa-san is...She's the cutest thing ever...Can't wait until I move to Japan :D

I thought the differences between movies and manga were justified, and extremely well written...Although I couldn't help but look at Light and think of Nanahara from Battle Royale (same actor and all)...it's as if BR really happened, but instead of being wanted after escaping, he was turned into a movie star.

After I'm done with Gunslinger Girl I'll be getting the DeathNote anime.

I don't think I could ever get enough Death Note. I've only read the manga and seen a little of the anime, but it was series love at first read. Now I'm just waiting for the rest of the anime to get released.

I love Death Note because Light is so deliciously evil, I hate him! No series has gotten me so worked up about a character in a long time. So I'm really enjoying the battle going on between L and Light. And of course Misa-chan is nice to look at too!^_^

Leela: No, there's already a soda like that. Soylent Cola.
Fry: Oh. How is it?
Leela: It varies from person to person.

Death Note obsessed and proud!!

I have all the manga and the movies, but I haven't worked up the cash to get the anime (I'd rather buy this one than download it).
It's just too good. O.O And intelligence is SO sexy...X3 I can't stand it.
All the characters are really nicely designed too. *wants to cosplay L this year*

Has anybody read the new "speical chapter" for the manga yet? It's set after the end of the manga/anime.

Not the chapter in "Book 13," right?

I didn't know there was one.

Just saw the last episode of Death Note last night...

It was horrible... they break Light's and Mikami's (proper spelling?) characters! Every part of light's personality that you like gets thrown out the window in that episode/manga.

::Grumbles about how the author was lazy and ended the anime wrong::

Same happens in Manga and movies. He ends up getting desperate and hes slightly insane, you just dont notice untill this episode

You notice a progressive insanity as he becomes more willing to kill... I'm talking about his complete lack of an alternate plan and his inability to think of a way to at least attempt to salvage the situation.

Just because you're stark raving mad, or because your crazy, doesn't mean you become stupid.

I'd love to see the prequel made into a manga. and is anyone going to see the spin-off movie, "L"? (dead serious)
-"Surely you can't be serious!"

-"I am serious....and don't call me Shirley."

PM me if anyone ever wants to chat!
