Pup, I have been "miss"ed a few times in public, which is PARTICULARLY hilarious since I have hairy arms and legs, a huge beer gut, an unshaven face, and a deep voice. I only wear (men's) jeans and t-shirts in public. But I have sometimes worn my shaggy, unkempt hair tied back in a long ponytail, so I *suppose* someone who only sees me from behind and still lives 100 years ago when men didn't wear their hair shoulder-length might jump to the conclusion that anyone with a ponytail down to the shoulder blades must be a lady.

Pffft, I'll have to ask my brother if he gets mistaken as a girl. He's 6 foot, skinny as a rail, really deep voice but wears his hair super long. It's amazing what people can mistake! I once starred in a crappy low budget student film. Most of the shots were my back (broad shoulders) and hunched over in a baggy shirt. Apparently, people were asking the director who the "cute guy" was. I think my hair was long at that point, as well.
I need to develop an annoying girly voice, obviously. Lessee, it's plenty annoying right now but lower than usual. I'll fake a valley girl accent. Instant Hilarity, Just Add Spaghetti.

I'm 40 ,married and a secret cross dresser only my wife knows and now you! ;0)
It's been a part of my life since I was 12 and wondered for a while if I was gay (hey not that there is anything wrong with being gay , but i was young and confused as no one else at school was like me) but I never really fancied guys so was i a cross dressing lesbian ?!? Tried hard to supress it for a long time but it made me misserable ,
much later i finally came to terms with my needs and stopped worrying about it ,its just another part of what makes me me .
I've never had the courage to go out dressed fem.
strangely the first costume I bought myself was a Alice in wonderland costume from eBay (seemed fitting" through the looking glass " lol)
Had never heard of cross play until recently and my heart nearly skipped a beat when I found this site , with people just like me .
I love the idea of playing a female character at a con , but I don't think I could go solo ( my wife loves me , but I don't want to push things too far for her as she has shown no interest in meeting that side of me... Maybe she will ask some day )
Would love to meet other cross players in England Essex area (just outside London) to chat and go to cons with ,send me a message please! and thanks for the site it's been great to read other people's story's .

I'm Haruna Say, a 2D artist for open-source racing game Speed Dreams. But I'm not here to promote a game.
This is a long-kept secret from the rest of the development team of that game, but I have always had a deep interest in crossplay. It used to be just something I'd joke about with my closest classmates in high school programming class, but once I got into college, it went from jokes to reality.
Now crossplaying as my favorite game characters is becoming my new hobby - an intensive one
Unfortunately I don't have any pictures on hand, but when I have time, I'll be sure to post more.

I'm Yomi (from Black Rock Shooter if you know), I'm a french otaku, 21 (22 in July), and I have some interests in crossplaying because I just love girls cosplay. I mean, you know, when you're in a shop and you're looking for clothes and you can't stop looking at the girl clothes, well, that's it ^^
I've been crossdressing since few years, even though I've (almost) never been outside like this (smth like one or two times maybe) because this is just so stressfull, and I'm afraid of people.
Anyway, I've made my first crossplay with a friend (a girl) for an event that will occurs next week, and since I've found this forum recently I though it would be cool to come here and talk with others people like me ! :)
Here's a pic, so you can see what it looks like !
I think I still need to do some ajustments with the wig, and maybe add some accessories (like rings and bracelets) !

Hi. Im Moira, and I'm a person. Happen to be interested in crossplay because I'm mtf transgender, but wish to remain in the closet until I can get somewhere less conservative. Crossplay might work because most conventions are far far away, and that way the rednecks around where I am stuck living until I turn 18 wont know, and therefore I wont be stabbed to death by hicks wielding torches and pitchforks. I'll be going to JAFAX at grand valley state university(safely 120 miles away) in June, and I hope to maybe see some of you there.

It's quite alright, I had to fight quite a battle with autocorrect just to post my first post. Although, Moria isnt really the best replacement for my name, considering that I'm not a dwarf by any means...
